documented, implemented and maintained a Quality Management System (QMS) for
smooth and efficient working of the organization. The QMS covers all functions
and their interactions to ensure delivery of quality services to comply with
client requirements and expectation and continually improve its effectiveness
in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standards.
Dedicated Staff Solely Responsible for Quality Assurance
Heads of four Strategic Business Units - Economic & Business Advisory
Group, Environment Advisory Group, Social Development Advisory Group and
Engineering Advisory Group - are responsible for delivering the high quality
services to the clients. Additionally, there is a senior professional
designated as Management Representative who is responsible for supervising the
quality of all delivered consulting projects and the processes used for
assurance of the quality. Management Representative is assisted by middle
level staff designated ‘Quality Assurance Manager’ who is allocated to each
project for ensuring the quality of services delivered to the client.
Ensuring the Quality of Performance over the Life of Assignments
The process of business development in the organization involves steps like
scanning the opportunities, deciding on the right opportunity keeping in view
the market focus and capabilities of the firm, preparation of best quality
proposals by assigning the responsibility of preparation to a designated
personnel with Business Development Division of the company and ensuring the
availability of enabling resources for the purpose. Business Development
Division is responsible for preparation of project proposals with specific
input from subject specialists. The final proposal is checked for its quality
by the Heads of Advisory Groups.
Maximum emphasis is put on the quality of specialists proposed for the
projects. Besides our in house specialists, we have strategic understandings
with various other institutes, organizations and individual professionals with
whom we associate for quality manpower resources as and when required.
Additionally, we have set up an online platform - The VisionRI Alliance –
which is a rich pool of qualified and experienced professionals. We draw upon
the strength of this platform as per the requirements for various projects.
In order to ensure the quality of services delivered by us, we define a well
structured quality assurance plan for each project that includes clearly
defined responsibility centre and quality verification check points. As part
of our quality assurance system, well defined processes to deliver the quality
value to clients are in place. All consulting assignments are executed in line
with these well defined processes to deliver the value.
Well Defined Internal Controls to Deal with Client’s Complaints
We have a well defined procedure for ‘control of nonconforming products and
services’ that includes tools like seeking continuous feedback from the
client, documentation of clients observation in standard formats/ checklists
for monitoring the client’s feedback and corresponding preventive and
corrective actions. This procedure defines the responsibilities and actions
for handling service and product/service non conformities. Through analysis of
deviations from defined processes and plans we determine problematic areas and
define actions for improving our performance. Potential risks and problems
related to our ability to deliver high class services and products are
determined and actions to avoid the problems are designed and implemented. All
of our employees are encouraged to identify such risks and suggest
improvements.
For ensuring the best performance, we have a standard procedure for
performance appraisal of all professionals. In addition to it, we also have a
project specific system of appraising the performance of professionals.
