Kalpana Industries Limited, a Company of Kalpana Group of Industries is a leading manufacturer of PVC compounds in India. The group is established in 1977 as a PVC compound manufacturer and with the continuous growth in the PVC industry, the group has spread it wings beyond PVC by setting up units to manufacture specialist compounds like Silance and Preoxide based XLPE, zero halogen FRLS, NBR/PVC, anti-fibrication, semi-conductive, automotive, cross linkable EVA foam compound and also additive master batches for both National and International markets. Further the group is diversifying into manufacturing of primary and secondary plasticizer and Engineering Plastic Compounds.
We have been retained by the company for conducting environmental, energy and social review for its five manufacturing units. The review shall be undertaken in accordance with the safeguard policies of FMO as well as other multilateral lending agencies keeping in view the environmental and social safeguard framework of international agencies such as WHO, World Bank Group, IFC, ILO etc. The applicable policy and regulatory framework of Government of India (GoI) shall also be considered in the process.
